;.( ;.( why do all the whales that like people are all dead?? and people say dont touch them or get away from that whale. wat if they're abandoned by their family or something is wrong and they know that people can help.. but other people just dont get it.. leave it there, no need to take it in to a tank. or it just wants to be loved by something else besides another whale. everyone has those times when they feel so lonely. and the only way they feel loved is by an animal. same with whales..

What a shame this beautiful animal was killed the way he was. Puts me in tears every time I think about it. . .Luna taught us all a lesson, as did all the people who befriended and tried to help him. God Bless Luna and those giving, loving people.

Religious song aside, a great animal. I had the privilege to meet the fishermen who used to work to send him further, and further offshore to try to send him to his family (he got stuck with an uncle who died up an estuary I believe?) but to those trawler men who did their best work (UNPAID!) to take care of this animal, well done. Great effort and I wish there was more like you!

its human nature to fight over something that will never really belong to anyone there is no freedom in this world anymore for humans or animals but christ help because that whale was so loving ive never seen anything quite like that it really is touching to my my heart to see a wild animal put trust in humans even tho luna probly knew what we are capable of but maybe he was lonely i cant stop thinkin about this story its hurts

mortthemoose I agree with you that was sad about Luna he was so young maybe he was trying to let the people in the boat know that his mother was in trouble and he was smart enough to know that we as humans would be the only ones to help him.I just watched the video about Luna he was so playful and friendly.He is such a beautiful creature.I would have loved to gooten close to him just to pet him and feed him.The boaters were told not to touch or feed him.He would have been dead.We need to accept
