There are thousands of songs with riffs that mimic other songs. Ladies and gentlemen, you can only have so many different combinations of chords and progressions before you begin to sound like something already out there. Does this mean plagiarism? HELL NO! If it did, there wouldn't be any more music to make. Even the accusation with Coldplay is absurd... C'mon, let's just leave them alone.

Well, it is way too similar to deny it... but, what's the difference? It's the same riff with lyrics int it. I don't think that's a big deal .___.

This is a good comparison. This is the first video I've seen with all four songs. I've compared them by watching different videos. Coldplay and Satch have the most similar songs, but there's definitely strong resemblance throughout all of them.

It's called diatonic chord substitution... and Coldplay are GUILTY of it.
- 'nuff said!

Since the chord progression of Viva la Vida is actually pretty simple, it shouldn't come as a surprise that there are so many videos on YouTube claiming Coldplay ripped of so-and-so and they should be sued, blah blah.
