As feed prices drive up the cost of keeping cows, farmers like Sally and Warren Coad say they've found a cost-efficient way of raising cattle -- raise miniature cattle. Plus, they say, smaller breeds lend themselves to young cow handlers. (Aug. 12)

  • Leave the cows alone

  • When are all of you that leave these crazy comments gonna wake up and realize, Damn it!!! I AM SUPPOSED TO EAT MEAT!!!!! I have roots in South Carolina though I was raised in NOrth Carolina and could never eat as many beans as you activists would like. Besides you need some ham hocks or a beef shank to flavoe those beans. We have always eaten meat. You can't stop it. I hunt as well and proud of it.

  • @GigglingPsycho GigglingPsycho. despite your name, your comment makes more sense than most that i read on here

  • this country ass montana kids. so cute how they talk. i love the accent

  • @errbag We gotta eat man, we need it for our energy, produce just doesn't cut it.

And BTW vegetables are living things too!

  • @fletchneck Are you?

  • Wake up humanity! You pet and love them, then slit their throats and murder them for food. Completely unnecessary! When will humanity learn. :(

  • @fletchneck actually yes! i have herd of about 30 dexters that are grass fed and pure bred and there meat is of better quality than the lager meat cows due to the fact there is less fat in ther meat and like the video says the meat yelild quanity is higher

  • Wow, there's alot of angry comments on here. Beef doesn't just magically appear in the store already cut and shrink wrapped. I think it's great that these cows get pasture and kids to love on them. Much better than being crammed into a feedlot and never shown any affection.
