9:46 : Miteki means "Song's flute beauty", my father created this name who does not exist even in Japan (...) I never lived in Japan, at the most I spent two months on holidays at my grandparents place, on my father's side, all my family lives there and i only talk with them in Japanese. I think my mother was linked to Japan quite before i was born, because it's a place she feels close to, the sensitivity and high level of subtility of the Japanese, and I think my mother is like this"

  • Miteki says : 5:54

To stop dancing on stage was difficult to her, because she's shared great moments and for this reason she can be very happy with the carreer she had.

Now she's giving lessons i think she truly does it from heart and she's going to enjoy the transmission of what she learned and experienced to young dancers. I think it is a good transition.

  • @1230hana

A parisienne!!?? She was born in Vendome (in the countryside as she says).

  • Noella is one of the reasons why as a little girl I dreamt of one day dancing with the Paris Opera...

  • When I was a student of Tani Ballets in Japan Noella performed Sleeping Beauty with us. Well, already more than 40 years ago. I used to watch her rehearsals. How she was perfect!! Not only her technique but also her expression. Really PERFECT!! She is the last Real Paris Opera Etoile. She is also such a lovely, sweet, perfect Parisienne whom we hardly see nowadays. What a beautiful Parisiennne French she speaks!!

I had been searching her videos but not easy to find...Thank You!!

  • yes, really, the gold period of POB! fantastic artistry... thanks a lot for this video! :)
