THis may sound strange, but Myamoto is like a fatherly figure to me.
He single handedly saved video gaming in the 80s, revolutionized the industry and created the most magical worlds that defined our childhood. I feel honoured to witness him and it makes me happy to see him knighted. :)

Shigeru Miyamoto was awarded the Chevalier class in the Ordre des Arts et des lettres (Order of the Arts and Letters) for contribution in the enrichment of french culture inheritance. although Chevalier is Knight. Due to miyamoto origin the title of Sir will not apply to him. However The honor itself is much more grand, If he keeps this up, He might get a promotion to the grade of Officier (Officer) and then to Commanduer (commander) the highest grade possible.

sigh.......the creator of Mario is knighted :( guess we'll be seeing more one eyes and pentagrams in Nintendo games

ご主人様! * _ *

The three of them deserve it. Due to my "budget" and knowledge about videogames at that time, I played the LBA series (Raynal) before any Zelda game, so it isn't a surprise that then I liked both franchises.

Ancel appears in the very end of the video, to the left of the screen. Blonde haired man in a grey jacket.

Yeah, it's Sir Shigeru Miyamoto now. What a life he must be having about now, huh?

France used to be a monarchy. Technically, they still can.
