Discovering Patriotism

While traveling across America to participate in various political rallies and events, Bell used his camera to discover and document what seemed to be a simple concept PATRIOTISM.

Bell found that patriotism was the driving force that motivates activists to move beyond Fourth of July flag waving to get off the couch to take a stand and make a difference in their communities, the nation and the world. From Washington D.C. to his county courthouse, Bell discovers a few modern day patriots.

Patriotism is not Deaf Dumb and Blind obediance to government directives; following orders is no excuse for any nations people to act in a barbaric manner. The German SS were Patriotic and  Nationalist and caused one of most barbairc times in world history. When patriotism is determined upon wether you support the acts of our politcal/financial/ miltiary leadership without question this nation will have lost its reason for being. That the US is set out upon such a journey today is the true US.

Damn at least not just another FN join an armed milita flic. The true milita is every able bodied man and woman in the US, whose duty is to stand up to his own governments tyrrany and corruptor of its founding principles. Patriots may be black, white, yellow, brown or red of skin; Protestant Catholic; Islamic or any faith, Its cultural roots are the Ideals written within the Bill of Rights, preamble to Constitution and our Declaration of Independence. My country Right or Wrong is unamerican.

Also arbitrary is the culture we inherit. I'm not sure why Dr. Paul mentioned the protection of one culture. I suspect that he prefers white christian culture over the rest.
