@whattazoo i understand that. but telling him/her oh no dont bite in a sweet little voice wont do any good. it soundds like a praise. that plus how would you feel if a huge person way bigger than you reached forn your head? you would feel intimadated and if you didnt have hands you would bite. not because you were mean or adult but because you were scared.

@ tarskinnl im sorry but thats what ive been tought. i realize that yes he is very small now but if u knew anything about  macaws u would know that a fullgrown scarlet can in fact break ur hand with 1 bite.

Did u breed him? In my opinion you need more education on macaws. Wether that is a scarlet or a Greenwing they both can take you hand off in seconds and you must have a better education then to go straight for his head!
