Problem with what Nikki Sixx said: he fucked Dickinson's wife in 1984 but states he revealed the secret in his book which came out in 03. Problem is this song was written in 1990.
My guess is this song is about Axl Rose.

Nikki Sixx gets the last laugh because he FUCKED Bruce Dickinson's wife. That was one of the highlights of the book "The Dirt". Nikki said she looked like Raquel Welch. She climbed in through his bathroom window (like The Beatles song) and jumped on him. Nikki nearly shit himself when he saw Bruce's wife the next day when the Iron Maiden entourage visited. Bruce asked Nikki if he wanted to try fencing. Nikki was afraid Bruce was going to kill him and make it look like an accident.

I don't understand how you say Nikki Sixx is a has been. The Crue kicks ass. So does Maiden. In the end it just comes down to your preference...but no way in hell you can call Nikki Sixx a has been.
