"For no apparent reason..." that summarizes DL's art, "Apparent" being the key term. There's ALWAYS a reason to everything in his art - a very clear, essential, profound reason. It's just not always stated, not served up on a nice cracker. You gotta do a little cranial calisthenics to get there. It's worth the effort. This DL is very enjoyable to watch. He is so Lynchian. I guess that's a swell thing to be. Time for pie and coffee...
