Walking has definitely proven to be a magnificent re-entry into regular fitness for me over the past year - lost 40+ pounds and feel fantastic. Too, it provides a wonderful opportunity to practice mental training, moving meditation, deep thoughts, etc. Keep up the great work!

I lol'd when she did a demonstration on how to walk.

Sure, you will burn muscle somewhat but it doesn't mean you stop burning fat. That's ridiculous.

Note: if your heartbeat is too high "your not gonna loose any fat" is not totally right, however, if you choose to workout in the right heartrate, your body uses more energy from fat reserves than carbohydrates or proteins :)

If my heart rate is too high I'm not going to burn any fat... Come again?

If your heartrate is higher than 65 to 75% of 220 minus your age, you are probably using your carbohydrate and protein "tank", not your fat reserves.
Best wishes
