Bat sonar recording of one or more Common Pipistrelles, flying back and forth along a path near the river Ravensbourne, Catford, south-east London. Part of the wildlife section of the London Sound Survey website at http://www.soundsurvey.org.uk/index.php/survey/wildlife
@WeaponSamurai The sounds in this clip are produced by a bat detector, in order for us humans to be able to hear the ultrasonic frequencies emitted by bats. This sound will not likely be of any interest to bats, even they were able to hear it. Also, bats are "human friendly" and, like most wild animals, will only try to attack if they are cornered. So you're quite safe.

So I'm trying to use this as a way to draw a bat out from my basement. I hope it doesn't try to bite the shit out of me.
