24.Strangers Love.?

As she finished her sentence and then pushed me away, I stood still in the kitchen. So, I really wasn't going to have a kid. While I was at work, the idea had kind of grown on me.

To have a kid, that came from me and Selena sounded nice. I could actually get used to it. I slammed my fist down on the kitchen counter, before making my way down the hallway. When I walked into our room, Selena wasn't anywhere in sight. The room was untouched. I frowned and closed the door. I turned to the guest room. The door was closed.

I pushed it open, revealing Selena, under the covers. I sighed and slowly made my way to her. "Selena?"

I crawled on the bed, sitting as close as I could to her. "babe?"

She shook me off when I tried to touch her. I grabbed the sides of her body, and pulled her towards me. "Just don't touch me, please."

I ignored her request, turning her towards me. The little eyeline she wore, was slightly beginging to run. The bear I had given her, was tightly held into her chest. I softly kissed her forehead.

"Selena, I'm so sorry, sorry for flipping out and sorry to find out your not really pregnant."

She glanced up at me. "Your sorry about that?"

I nodded, pulling her closer. "I didn't know you were so excited to be pregnant. I- I just wanna know why."

"Umm." She bit her lip and closed her eyes. "I guess, I just wanted the feeling of Aiden again."

"selena." I whispered.

She shook her head, as a few tears rolled across her cheeks. "I just, I miss him."

I pulled her closer to me, sliding my arms around her waist, and combing her hair with my fingers.

"Selena, when you told me you were pregnant, I got scared. I'm not a father type guy. I drink, I have a temper and I probably couldn't provide for both of you."

"If there was a both of us." I heard her say.

I brushed her comment off. "But, when I went to work, I actually thought about it. You having my kid. I love it."

"You love it?" She laughed.

I sighed, rolling on my back and pulling her ontop of me. I held my arms up in the air. "Picture it. A girl who looks like you, with my hair. She'd be beautiful."

"Your right." She told me, finally smiling. "but, I'm not pregnant." her smile faded.

I smirked, about to open my mouth. She laughed. "and I'm not having sex with you right now, Love."

She smiled and rolled off of me. I glanced at the clock. "It's ony Seven, wanna go out to eat?"

"Sure, but only if we can walk there"

I nodded, grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the guest room. "Off we go."

"Nick! I'm in sweats, let me go get dressed."

I laughed shaking my head. "Who are you trying to impress?"

"Your a jerk, I just dont wanna look like a homeless person." She said.

I shrugged. "I'm too hungry to wait for you. Were gonna leave now."

She groaned, as I pulled her out the front door, and placed her infront of me. "Where are we going to eat?"

"I don't know, wherever you wanna go." I told her, wrapping my arms around her.

We ended up in front of the only italian resturaunt in our town. Selena's hand was still intwined in mine, as we began to walk through the doors. We were directed to a table against the wall. Our chairs on seperate sides.

"Nick?" She asked.

I looked up from the menu. "When you told me, you loved the idea of a little girl, were you just saying that or did you mean it?"

"I meant everything, I told you."

"So, your ok with a baby?"

I nodded, and she smiled before standing up and moving her chair next to mine. I grabbed her hand, as she placed her head on my shoulder.

"A baby with you, if fine by me"
