I can't believe the waitress/people/ whoever didn't notice home. Well he's in NYC so I guess doctor who is mostly in London but I watch it!!! Weird......

in britain, small children, politicians and tv producers are fascinated by the glossy superficial aspects of the US. TV producers are on an immense US wank. They peddle "isn't the US great" proven by lots of pop culture drivel. Never anything of any depth. It's like a shameless propaganda fest.
There's a whole world out there, but britain gets a never ending stream of fawning froth about the US.
(No offence to anyone in the US. This is about shallow TV producers, not the US.)
