Bringing Home a New Puppy

This is my new puppy 'Phender' from Spring Hollow Kennels ( http://www.springhollowkennels.com ) on his first night home. He is out of 'Pharaoh' X 'Nikki'. He is a Dutch Shepherd X German Shepherd.

You may already know Pharaoh, his father from some of my previous videos, or the videos found on The Sit Means Sit Channel ( http://youtube.com/fredhassen/ ).

'Phender' is about 12 weeks old in this video,and it's just him messing around with his toys. There will be plenty more puppy training videos to come very soon.

what kind of home do you live in? I live in a aparment and it is big is it ok if I take care of a german shepard puppy they are so cute

@Daun719 Having a large dog like a Shepherd in an apartment is fine, but they still need exercise and mental stimulation in order to stay out of trouble. Crate training for a puppy is a good idea.

@PartayyChick101 I play fetch with them and take them swimming. About a hour daily is pretty good. Usually it works out to longer stints less frequently. Swimming is the best though because there is less strain on their joints and requires more effort than walking or running. They tire faster, but are less prone to over heating.
