@jessiecrtr Plans were from Live Steam magazine. They were printed over 3 issues starting with the Nov/Dec 2000 issue.

Very cool! I myself am making an air engine out of all wood and its easier then I thought! (im only 14)
Anyway what do you use to lubricate the moving parts? My dad reccomended baby powder do you think that will work?

@TheChickeneer The only lubrication I use is a coat of wax - specifically Minwax paste finishing wax. I imagine baby powder would be helpful as long as it doesn't get wet with condensation from humid compressed air. Graphite would also work well if you're not concerned about grey streaks on the moving parts. Try just the wax first and then go from there. Good luck.
