Saab 9-3 Viggen

1999 SAAB 9-3 Viggen (2.3 ltr turbo) with 3" JT cat-back exhaust and Saabflight ECU. Power gains achieved without increasing base-boost above standard.

These third and fourth gear pullaways were recorded on a private facility (the limited length of which constrained the speeds reached)

0.38 'g' achieved in third gear.

NB. UK spec vehicle so speedometer reads in miles per hour.

Does the exhaust drone much at motorway speeds? I've got an '01 aero and was considering the jt exhaust for it, any help would be nice :-)

@leoncheers89 I no longer have the car but from memory it was not noticably louder at motorway speeds - only when the throttle was opened up.

You're right. Its fixed now, but the local tyre & exhaust place aligned the wheels without locking the steering wheel in the straight-head position - one of the track-rod ends was a bit stuck and they couldn't shift it!

yea not too piss you off but i got a 99 9-3se with 2.75 inch exhaust from downpipe back no cat cold air intake with mbc lowered 1.5'' dont even have an intercooler yet n id rape you ill post some vids  soon n mines an automatic saabs effin rock bought mine 2 years ago 89k miles brand new cond. for 5k cash i love it fmic nordic tune bov n wastegate in 9 months 12psi now 20 then
