The reason he was ignored is because he left Nashville and did his show out of Springfield Mo, and all the powers that be in Nashville were upset so they just kinda black balled him. I worked with Red, and he was an awesome man. My dad was his guitarist, Speedy Haworth

Gospel music was a huge part of our childhood back then, sure do miss those great old days.

I'm old enough to remember waching Red...and 10 year old Brenda Lee...on the Ozark Jubille. Not only did Red do a Gospel song each broadcast, but all country shows on TV and radio had a Gospel song. Most country artists did a Gospel song in their live shows as well. Good to see Red and The Jubilee on You Tube!
