You have to kill one of the following, or the entire earth and all living things will be destroyed: Your best friend, a bum on the street, a dog, a mouse, or a dandelion. If you do not pick one, everyone will die. Which do you pick?

@MrJohnnyOldschool Actually, there are many tribal cultures where humans ARE eaten. We ARE animals. The only reason we don't kill each other is because it's socially deemed unethical.

And actually, yes, I do think killing a plant is just as bad -- if it is done needlessly. To me, it's like slaughtering a cow or a chicken. I do NOT think humans are worth more than an animal. A life is a life, and it's that kind of attitude that makes me really think less of humanity.

@CrydConfidently Actually, killing a human being is nothing like killing an animal. Why? Because we eat animals, and use their parts for products. Humans are not used for food or products. This means any time a human is killed, it's needlessly, unless it is in self defense. Also, human beings are the highest form of life on the planet, therefore killing one if worse than killing a dog.

Plants are also living things. Would you say killing plants is EXACTLY like killing a human? Of course not.

Actually. Killing people is EXACTLY like killing an animal. Humans ARE animals. Why should we think it's okay to just kill animals. Don't even try to lower that. Many serial killers start out killing animals before they move on to humans and the truth is, a living thing is a living thing. =/
