This is my entry for Neebe's (rollenmuziek) Vocalise singing contest round three. :) We were assigned to sing a villain song and I think there's no greater villain than Frollo.
Let me introduce you to Judge Claudia Frolla. She has the hots for a young babe called Esmeralda, but Claudia's religious background is twisting her new found love and lust for Esmeralda into something impure and sinful. So she blames Esmeralda and God for her own feelings.
I wanted to reinvent this iconic song from a female point of view and wanted to concentrate on the emotion of the character. Claudia is baffled by her new feelings for this woman she's just met and at the same time she's terrified that someone might find out about her new crush.
I hope you'll like this cover and I hope it doesn't offend anyone. :D
Oh and yes, I edited that picture of Judge Claudia Frolla. xD I'm sorry for my crappy Photo Shop skills! :'D
