This is a vid of me and a mate riding the monkey trail at cannock chase in Staffordshire. Just over halfway through the 19km trail you'll find these 2 good descents pretty much back to back.
It also shows the quality of the 'veho muvi pro' which sits perfect in the front vent on my giro hex helmet. The camera does seem to struggle staying smooth when on the move, but for its size, weight, flexibility, ease of use and expandable memory-it aint too bad. Don't bother with extreme spots pack. Its just some sloppy attachments and straps that are hopeless for mtb - there's nothing extreme about it!
If you've not done the trail yet definitely give it a go-I remember going far quicker than the vid seems to show :-)
As for the Muvi Pro- I've noticed the footage is loads smoother when the camera is in a 'stationary position', will try get round to posting some more vid's showing this.

  • you ever used this on the road? any good on road? + can you see license plates?

  • @tdragon360 No, not tried it on road so not sure about the plates. With it being smoother on road youll probably pick them up but think youll struggle over 5m+

  • Yeah def the pro version. Its really good when its stationary but on the move it struggles a bit. Its not lost much (if any) on upload. I think the picture quality will be the same on both but not sure if its worth the upgrade for an extra 5fps.

  • Awesome video, what is the name of the song? I've just bought a Veho muvi pro and a waterproof case for when I go scuba diving

  • Nice video and nice trail!

Is the camera definately the pro version with the 30fps. I can't see a lot of differance with my std version and I was thinking of upgrading. Has it lost some quality on upload?

    Cheers
