  • I was talking in general. Everyone spells it Sedokova, even she does but they pronounce it as Sedakova. I find that kind of weird.

  • Interesting. The same is true of Julia Kovalchuk. Her first name is pronounced as Yuliya, but still everyone, including me, uses Julia for her name. Oh, as for Friske, I used to use Zhanna for her first name, but after she used Janna in her own clip, I started to use it for her name. Yes, really weird, but I am used to it.

  • Her Jersey clearly says Sedakova and it's pronounced. I don't understand why it's spelled Sedokova. Just saying, not trying to make you re-title the video.

  • I know the difference. However, on the English Wikipedia, her name is Anna Sedokova: Anna Sedokova (Анна Седокова, sometimes known as Аня Седакова, Anya Sedakova) is a Ukrainian-Russian pop singer, born on December 16, 1982 in Kiev.

  • she is one of my favourite russian singer! :)

  • Надоели, "америкосы" . Анна, наша.

  • @harrietlam it means "The Very Best Girl"

  • @iluvalima It's a Russian thing. We usually write an o instead of an a even if it's not pronounced with an o.

  • @harrietlam Means the most best/good girl

  • @JubeXYZv That's because in Russian grammar u spell it Sedokova but pronounce sedakova, like knife u don't pronounce k same here its just the grammar in Russian like that, there are a lot of words u spell one way but pronounce another.

  • @iluvalima It's a common feature in the Russian language. The 'O' in russian is often not stressed, and therefore almost pronounced as an 'a'. The first 'o' in sedokova is not stressed, whereas the second 'o' is stressed. The Russian spelling is седокова but it is nearly pronounced as "sedakova".

  • how did i get here?? xD

  • Facepalm!
