  • Oh my god. In sweden it is much easier.

  • Taunia, does insurance pay for the reconstructive surgery afterwords to remove the extra skin? I couldn't find it anywhere else on your site unless I missed it. I am going to make my appt. with the surgeon tomorrow. Love ya sweetie!

  • OMG! So helpful.Thanks.

  • great answers and very helpful

  • Aaron and I were lucky with this; we didn't have to give specific documentation. We were able to find some, though. Here's what we did: Check your bank records for payments to any weight loss stuff: gym memberships, etc. If you've changed banks, the gym or whatever will have records. Also, your weight history should be available to you from the OB/GYN. Also, I totally agree with Tom re: knowing your coverage rights. Go Tom!! (He Rocks)

  • Hi there!

You are looking really great Taunia:)the weight loss is so obvious..great job answering questions..

  • GREAT advice, Tom! I forgot to mention the sleep apnea, but downloading the info on the insurance site and keeping documentation is key!

  • This way you have a copy and can provide it without trying to get another copy from the testing facility. Another common comorbity is Sleep Apnea. Are you tired during the day? Do you snore? These are common symptoms and you might have it. First step is finding out what your insurance company requires and if you have coverage for WLS. Then you can make a plan of attack. It may take a while to get everything in order and meet their requirements, but it will pay off in the end. Tom
