This is most likely the model of Val'anyr, Gavel of Ancient Kings, the new legendary weapon introduced in Patch 3.1. Fragments will drop from bosses (just like Atiesh in Naxxramas) and players will have to complete a questline that will have them face Yogg-Saron himself to finally recreate the legendary mace.

    vanilla had a neck that got deleted after 1 person got it, and it also had the staffs.

    Vanilla also had a Staff which had 4 different versions due to different stats for different classes.

  • ....anybody else notice theres 2 legendarys per expansion? vanilla: thunderfury, sulfuras, BC: warglaves, bow who's name is unpronounceable, WoTLK: shadowmourne, hammer who's name is unpronounceable cata:??
