The LuciaStove as a Gas Producer. 4/22/09

Happy Earth Day everyone, this is a video of the LuciaStove in gasification mode. She is a coaxial gasifier and therefore does not have to be trickle fed, you can happily add more fuel at anytime and have gas production on command. This was just a quick show for Earth Day, after all why buy fuel when we can make our own and help the planet at the same time? If I can run my 1991 Fiat Panda Sisley with the gas from a modified LuciaStove why couldn’t everyone?

This is just a quick lab set up done for the sake of this demonstration. To use the LuciaStove as a full time gasifier you will need a bolt on gas unit.

@goldfish99108 Thanks for your question. we have both fan free and fan assisted versions of the LuciaStove. As for selling units, in order to be able to better concentrate on our work in developing nations and R&D we no longer do any direct sales. we do sell our products through authorized resellers preferring to concentrate our efforts in helping others set up their own self-sustaining locally owned and operated LuciaStove StoveHubs

Siamo ora basati negli stati uniti con fabbriche in USA Italia e a breve Messico che forniscono il materiale per le stovehubs o gli rivenditori autorizzati nel mondo.

Nice video, thank you. Could you please tell me why the 1st attempt to extract gas was so smoky and apparently difficult to light compared with the 2nd attempt, which was a steady, smokeless flame?
