  • hey this is a question for all you guys out there i just bought a 94 talon tsi awd, that when i get to a stop it keeps on shutting off, could it be because of the gas it says it needs premium fuel only...and also i just changed the oil i put regular 10-40w and im getting low pressure when i got it it had 3-4ths so that would be normal and now its 1-4th from low do you think its because i need synthetik oil, its the first time i have a car with a turbo so i really appreciate the help

  • Most likely its your timing. If thats not the case make sure all your hoses and piping are well connected.

  • @holsetdsm91 Exactly!

  • lol i got a dsm as well..and..i mean its fast..but no to the "OH SHIT" point

  • @josegartt Buy a new car. =P DSM isnt for you.

  • @cr123555 great car, can be fast if you're SMART about it, my 90 tsi is reliable as fuck, and fairly quick to boot

  • @cr123555 its not true. they have a bad rep because stupid kids buy them. throw a huge turbo on them over boost them without proper supporting mods. and dont change out the timing belt's change oil and do the maitenece required for any car. if you take care of it like you should it will be fine! i am selling one btw if you feel like coming to portland oregon haha

  • i always wanted a 91 talon but heard they are vert unrealiable. does anyone know if this is true?

  • @josegartt is the bov recirculated? if not that could be why. if it is stock with a stock bov and the tube is not plugged into the intake it will die if you stop without reving it up to stay alive. if you need more help pm me i can give you my number i am a dsm mechanic i can help you

  • @balller8 i think otherwise. my friend had a problem like tha which turned out to be a throttle position sensor. common problem on these cars.

  • lol "AAHHH SHIT!!" You have got to be proud of a reaction like that

  • @josegartt put premium in you clown
