@spain8f that's a straw-man argument - you can't attack a poor implementation of something to claim that the something is rubbish. You'd have the same problem if you hosted all the same databases on one physical server. You'd have them across multiple physical boxes right? A well-planned deployment, either physical or virtual, is not just 'everything lives on one piece of hardware'.

@spain8f A well designed production VMWare environment would never allow for one server to be a central point of failure. In the situation you described the servers would immediately power up on another host in the HA cluster.

Craziest thing - the team did this totally incognito, with no budget, did all the recording and editing solo. Grand total expense = $1600, grand total awesomeness = $10B :-)

I knew they had mad nerd skills - had no idea they had these skills too :-)
