  • I like the racoon vids are they filmed in your backyard or garden? I suppose the UK version of these are badgers they have similar features but are biult differently body wise. But the best thing about racoons you can get them in your towns and cities, we can't get badgers in our towns they are strictly country dwelling animals. However we do get urban foxes that live amongst us in our UK towns and cities which i like very much :)

  • @mrhiide - That's very cool, I wish we had more foxes here - :) The raccoons I tape are recorded in a friend's yard, I don't have them where I live, but he does, so I set cameras up to tape them as often as I get a chance to! We did have a fox visiting us here earlier in the year (which is HUGE for us!) but it was very shy, it didn't like any form of light, so all of the footage I managed to capture was grainy NightShot footage... still, awesome that it came, and it visited here for a month!

  • @VirtualMP3Studio - That's great that you're just relocating them - especially if you're relocating the entire family! It's interesting that you've got so many raccoons in your area, we don't have any where I *live* at all, but there are some not too far away from here.

  • @taburineagle Just the front yard. I have more clips to put up in the next little while. One defeated the trap last night and dragged it around, patio stones and all! LOL! I never kill them, just relocate. One family, mom and two nearly adult kits were relocated monday night. Caught her Friday and the kids Monday. All dropped in the same spot. I work in pest control and had this damaged trap that I was trying to repair. I think its working now...

  • @VirtualMP3Studio - Ah! OK, that's cool - although families usually need to be relocated all in one piece if you come across that... Are you catching them in a lot of places, or just all in your yard?

  • @taburineagle Release them 20 km away near a water source. The count is now up to 12.

  • @VirtualMP3Studio - Yeah, I've seen videos you've posted in the past. What do you do with them?

  • I have caught 6 in the past month...

  • I'm on a few raccoon mailinglists with Zorra's owner I believe... such a sad story - :( I'm glad you like my videos though! I do have more raccoon releases planned, it's just hard finding the time to edit them. Mom coons seem to do very well with their kits, but you're right - the world as a whole isn't exactly friendly towards raccoons...

  • man i love your videos, and mollys, raccoons dna is 4 th next to monkeys and chimps then ours, your videos help people see, mother raccoons r 99 %%%% very goood with there babies and most raccoons r just trying to survive as u hear a world that isnt always kind for them,my friend who had a raccoon zorrA,who was killled by colorado d.o.w.,she is doing petition,no kill for non releasable wildlife, sanctuary choice,or stay with person who found them w/restrictions,mary wille
