"LOTSA LUCK" permanently moved to Fridays (from Monday nights) in January 1974, to no avail.

How weird! I was only 3 in those days, so I guess when these shows were on, I was asleep! The snake in a box as NBC's logo? "In color", like color was still a new selling point? Lotsa Luck? The Girl With Something Extra? I don't remember any of that!
My earliest NBC logo memory was the trapezoid N they stole from Nebraska Public TV two years after this.
And Sanford and Son, of course.

It looks like Lotsa Luck wasn't so lucky, and The Girl With ESP probably didn't see her show being cancelled either. I only remember Sanford and Son.

"Lotsa Luck" got released on DVD. Not bad, but the show came across as repetitive. However, I tend to go through DVD sets quickly...the whole series in less than a week, which may explain why it seemed repetitive....

if those 1973 friday night NBC promos of shows could do that? then perhaps an NBC promo of the short lived one season wonder 1973 promo for the 1973-74 Jack Webb crime show "Chase" can do it too?
