Californio Castro! came with the anza party. we still have family reunions at the Castro adobe in Watsonville ca. shit, im even in the same town (santa cruz) that we founded! a bunch of us are! I think a couple of theys pics were even taken at the adobe. 1:25 for sure was!.

@Art4Law "Your full of shit". lol Northern Mexico was as diverse back then as it is now. The area was and still is home to Whites, Mestizos, and Natives. Instead of "white people", use the term Anglo, to differ from the White Californios, since there were and still are White Mexicans (Spanish ancestry). If you're referring to Whites who stole the land from the Natives, then many of the Californios should be grouped with the Anglos as "genocidal people by nature".

@Art4Law Get your facts straight. Fremont sent a ragtag group that jailed Velajo and then proclaimed a California republic and there was no Fullerton until 1886 as a land trader. Californios were able to initially defeat Kearney at the San Gabriel river. But YOUR comments look the racist ones.
