The Electric City Chargers took on the NEPA Miners June 25, 2011. The game was a charity event in which all of the gate proceeds went to the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Moosic Raiders Junior Football Organization.
The Rivalry game which has been trying to be played for the past 4 years was finally won by the Electric City Chargers. The Miners 2011 slogan "NO ONE OUTWORKS US" has been proven that they can, they have and they will continue to be outworked as long as the Electric City Chargers are around.
The score of the game had a major gap. Something the NEPA Miners couldnt see coming.
