He neglected to mention that it was orrigionally the U.S. who put the Taliban together in the first place.

In the Cold War, when the U.S.S.R invaded Afganistsan, the U.S. organized the Taliban, armed them, trained them, and supplied them with large sums of money.

When the U.S.S.R pulled out of Afganistan, instead of helping them re-build, the U.S. just left also.

And Afganistan went to Hell.

9-11 is yet another example of U.S. forign policy coming back to bite itself in the ass.

karzai is a former unical executive, hand picked to oversee the construction of oil and gaz pipes from the trashcan-istans, thru afghanistan, to waiting western tankers. this war is about oil and opium revenues. time to revive the anti-vietnam movement.

time to ban AIPAC and its subversion of the u.s. electoral process, the suborning of congress, the hijacking of foreign policy and the free ride israel has enjoyed grace a la u.s. taxpayer, an estimated $3B/yr plus $3B/yr in military transfers.
