have you all seen the documentary about them on youtube?? It's just fantastic.
One of the few bands I can say that I Love. So many classic songs they gave us. Amazing.. and it shows how fu@^*d up the music biz is that none of their songs were well known! But we still have them! Long live Rex and Neil!
I was introduced to them in the early 70's in Rhode Island. I saw them at the Salt in Newport a few years later; saw them play a block party in Boston, MA when "It's Goin' on Saturday" was being played on the Boston stations and I was in college there at the time. I also saw them even waited for hours out in the wintry cold weather to see them at Passim's Coffee House in Cambridge. Then I saw them again in the late 80's in Newport again at another venue. We need more videos of their latest ...
The Greatest band to never make it! I saw Rex and Neal dozens of times through the seventies and eighties. They still sound great all these years later
Woo Hoo! My favorite song. They are from the New England area! I was in college when they came to Central CT State College! 1977-ish??? Still love them! Creative words and music! Be sure to get their "Second Step" album. Every song is great!
