When international grocery chain Tesco wanted to expand their market share in South Korea, they came up with this genius idea.

Because the people of South Korean are the second hardest working people in the world, they don't have much time or incentive to go grocery shopping. So why not do it on the way home from work - but virtually! The Korean subsidiary Home Plus put up billboards in subway stations with realistic photos of their products, all accompanied by QR, or Quick Response codes. All the shoppers needed to do was scan the QR codes with their smart phone and their groceries were delivered to their doorsteps.
