He's still alive, and was the brains behind Kaufman's funny material (while Kaufman came up with things like reading books to audiences expecting and desiring a comedy act, playing hand drums whilst chanting like a retarded child, and impersonating Elvis Presley).

Andy Kaufman is dead, Paul McCartney isnt, and lizard monsters have not infiltrated the governments of Earth.

Pretend George Carlin is still alive instead. He was a funny and intelligent man.
