I do have an X2 mini mill that is ballscrew/CNC'ed and my bigger mill is ballscrew and CNC as well. There is just always something more to spend time and money on. Lately it's been a 300 pound robot. And no I don't do fights (what a waste of equip, and those are just huge radio control cars with weapons) mine are real autonomous, objective oriented units. This one is to be a sentry. I need to try and do a phonecam walk through.

That's what I have, a Ryobi and I have never even thought of a floor mounted one. I got this one from my father who had a floor mounted one as well, started off "come on lemme have this junker, you have the big one." I soon saw why he was reluctant to part with it, damn thing might have been better than his big one.

I know the mill/drill will "do" it but you need a decent drill press to be complete. I was watching and we have all the same stuff, I just don't have the blast cabinet and you are missing a drill press so it evens out :P
