@CanineHybrid I wanted to make my Nidorina the way you made your Leafeon costume. I thought that might be the best way for me. But I'm not sure. I think I will have the biggest problem with the fleece furring.

Thank you so much. The time and money you put in it shows. If I ever saw this at a con, I think I would squee really loudly. Anyway, good job!

Love how you have it linked up with the music too~

dude.... How long did it take you to make this and how much money did this cost for the materials? I want to do this with Rampardos or Aggron!

@TheGreatCrow This costume was worked on over a period of two years and I invested at least 300 hours of work into it. The materials were somewhere in the $400 range maybe, but I honestly didn't keep track because almost most of that expense went towards all the foam I used in the costume.. and I had all of that on hand (I always keep a generous amount of it in stock).
As for Rampardos and Aggron, my good friend ShaggyGriffon has created both those characters! Check out her YouTube :)

how's it seeing through this, especially with the glowing lights?
Kukkuseli 1 month ago
@Kukkuseli Vision is great actually! The backs of the eyes are blacked out so no light shines into your eyes. You cannot see directly in front of you through the vision screens, but you simply look down through the mouth to see where you are going instead. The vision screens on the sides offer great peripheral vision though :) Maybe I should do a Groudon costume overview view to answer questions like this I get all the time.

@raxel002 I would honestly suggest trying something much simpler until you get the hang of working with these kinds of materials and methods. But you are always welcome to refer to my videos as reference for you own projects. As for tips- I'd take some time to do your research and planning before you begin. I also have a Creature Costuming video series that is all about tips for beginners so I'm sure it would be useful to you. Good luck!
