Cecilia and I used to perform this song live at various occasions some summer.
Lars Persson got everything a woman would need, money, land and cattle and he tries to win her heart by offering that to her but she's not interested in any of it. She's only in it for his wonderful eyes. (hans vackra ö-ögon)

It is made by Elis Brandt. He worked at the "Bengts" accordeon factory. When the factory stopped he started his own brand. It is dry tuned by myself in a temper inspired by Pythagoras. Some reeds differ up to 30¢ from a well tempered accordion. The result can be very nice harmonies as what you can hear on "Knöl-Lars"
