"Cry for Water" from Solomon Islands

These are digital stories created by Girls4change (G4C) during a workshop held in June 2011. Girls4change are young Solomon Islands women between the ages of 15-29 who are making positive changes in their lives and communities. The digital stories are based on issues affecting young people in Solomon Islands such as: water supply, teenage pregnancy, youth unemployment and the positive contribution of women to society.

G4C would like to thank the following organisations for their support with this project: Honiara City Council Youth Division, Save the Children, YWCA Solomon Islands, One News Solomon Islands, Commonwealth Youth Programme (CYP) Pacific Centre and the UNESCO Apia Office for the Pacific States.
