how do you make the masks on the white layer? you need to explain everything so beginners will know what to do...

well then that defeats the purpoise of having a tutorial because people who arent beginners will probably know how to do this anyway.

dont you think you could have taken the extra few minutes to explain everything and make a whole lot more people happy? the only way for beginners to get better is for other people to tell them how to do stuff so why not help me out.

You do have a point, but I actually created this tutorial for a specific audience of Star Wars-fx fans who know the basics, because of other tutorials that have been done before actually.

And you might be surprised how many of them didn't work this method out on their own.

I got the idea from your tutorial to use the double mask way. I tried before to motion track but it didnt work well since my laser burn crosses itself and makes intricate turns. Hopefully it works out.

Is there trial on Adobe after effects? And what are the limits? Is it regular 30 day use only?
