Save The Hmong People

May 26th, 2009: I haven't been on youtube lately, and I don't know if I'll get any more emails about using this video for informational purposes like powerpoint and slide shows. I just wanted to say that you don't have to email me to get my permission to use this piece as long as you're not making money off of it, you're free to use it to let others know and to save our hmong people :)

June 8th, 2008: Wow... it's been a year already, and so many comments...thank you all. Again, this is not to show disrespect to anyone one. It's to educate everyone about what is happening.

May 19th, 2007: I'm tireeddd of you the Hmongs and other culture that have no respect and comment on my video while making racist remarks of other culture and crap. I DID NOT put this video up so you can say hateful things to each other.

I've deleted all the racist/hateful comments and I will continue to do so.

This is for educational purposes and for others to learn and at least appreciate a little of what us Hmongs have gone through in order to get where we are today.

Again, if you don't have anything good to say, keep your mouth shut!

i pray for my peeps in the jungles of laos, i am an american soildier and if i can go back to help my people i would but i know i cant since a one man army cant do shit but one thing i hate is this so called leader of the hmong people, (aka vang Pao), fuck that fool he aint my leader he should have kept his mouth shut and we hmong b ok but cause of his greediness we suffer for his ass. i dont need no leader like that i rather go my own ways. my prayers and thoughts to my cousin in the jungles

Thanks for this video.Vang Pao dragged and force us Hmong to fight this war in order to support his opium business with the CIA and undermine the Southeast Asian revolutionary war to chase out thieves back to the U.S. Now that the war is over we should learn to beg for forgiveness instead of spitting threats and propaganda.If Vang Pao refuses to turn himself in for war crimes uses us as scapegoat, our people are going to continue to suffer as Laotian try to end the war and remnants of enemy.

wheres general vang pao in this? i dont see him doing anything to help at all...he's supposedly the "leader" of the hmong people, but seems he's only living the life, and not living up to the title. so much pain and sorrow, and not much being done about it at all.

Vang Pao want these people dead so he will continue to threaten the people of Laos from the comfort of his house using these people in the Jungle as scapegoats. I think this is evil that he is trying to do when he should have turned himself in and allow the wounds to heal. Yes, Vang Pao will die for his crimes, but countless hmong will be save and Vang pao will have die as a hero.

Our people go there and wave money in their faces and put them through prostitution when we should put them through SCHOOL. WE SHOULD BE BUILDING THEIR DREAMS AND NOT OUR FANTISIES. Instead we should be helping them not hurting them. We are killing our own PEOPLE...

I want all of my fellow Hmong people to understand that no one other than our own people are traders to our own kind. We should be finding ways to improve here in America yet, we sit and save on welfare and go back to bribe our own people into prositution. We should work hard here and try to help them. We have no status because we cant defend our own people due to our lack of knowledge.
