    If ever there was a compilation list of "The Greatest Songs To Never Hit #1 On The Billboard Chart," this one might just be at the top of my list. Everything you could ever want in a song: great instrumentation, infectious melody, a rich soulfull voice, and a pounding beat. It amazes me to this day that 1-2-3 could only peak at #2. One of the all-time greats!

    1 of my faves, 1 of the best records, & 1 of the greatest oldies of all time.....

    Incidentally, the writers of "1-2-3" were sued by Motown over the similarities 2 the Supremes "Ask Any Girl", the B-Side of "Baby Love". I've heard that back in the day, Berry Gordy's legal team were like pitbulls if anything even sounded remotely similar 2 a Motown track...
