Here is my wifes Herald getting a new coat of paint. I decided to do it myself because bodyshops cost a lot and you can get more money into the car than it's worth. Total cost for this job was about $550 including some tools that will be used again. After three weekends (one to prep, one to paint, and one to sand and polish) and a lot of work it looks beter than I thought it could. Don't think you can't do it yourself!
It's a lot of fun too.
