Advert was made 1980, some of the Advert is missing, omitted is the forecourt of the service station and the attendant filling the Gas. Advert was made on the road between Malaney and Montville on the Sunshine Coast QLD the car is a 1973 Morgan 4/4 there were three of these adverts made and two different Jingles the jingle in this advert is the correct one. I have all the filming details if any one is interested,The ladies name is Debora Lamb, How do I know this, I own the car

The girls name is Linda Hardy, I knew her when she was doing this add in 1981
she also did a sunsilk add (star quality she’s got it wearing a karate outfit) and 2 adds in Victoria, Jovan Musk Oil add and she was a Big M Girl, Vanilla Malt Big M, she was a cover girl for Dolly and all through that magazine all around 1980 to 1981 She did a bit of catwalk work with Melissa Hannan until Melissa did the miss Australia stuff, she was very pretty and a lot of fun,

Why do they not make jingles anymore - Would make the commercials breaks so much more entertaining....rather than annoying! This is a classic.

As I understand it, AMOCO's previous advertising agency, Mojo, were handling the "At Least A Dozen Ways To Save Your Petrol" campaign at the time this ad was made. This ad I think was an answer to that campaign.

There's a website that has these AMOCO ads. There's 4 different jingles including this one, but as an mp3 audio file only.
I can't tell you what the site's address is because You Tube has disabled web addresses because of Spams so type "Unique Cars And Parts" in google and you should find them on that site.
