After being asked to shoot a corporate executive who is notorious for not being able to remember his lines, or speak from the cuff. I scrounged through my shop and dug up enough pieces and parts to assemble what seems to be a reasonable teleprompter. I installed a 1/4" & a 3/8" T-Nut so it can be mounted to a sturdy tripod. I used an old picture frame with the glass for the reflective surface, I built a simple frame and attached it with hinges so I can drape a dark fabric over the camera and teleprompter in order to eliminate any glare. I'm happy with the results, but have yet to put it to use.

  • I'll re-shoot this video next week and spend a bit more time explaining the rig. This video at least shows that it works, but it does a poor job of showing the teleprompter.
