This martial art DVD documents application methods of the Yin Style Baguazhang Lion system. Focusing mainly on the seven forms of the sweeping strike, it provides a deeper understanding of the techniques, forces and changes that were introduced in previous videos documenting the Lion system.

@AquaticPandaBear If you ask about Yin Style in the He Jinbao lineage (the guy in the video) I would say that the phoenix, bear or unicorn systems all have what you're looking for. If you ask what Bagua system in general is best I would say it is a lot more important to find a knowledgeable instructor than what style you pursue. If you're new to martial arts and need some help identifying a good instructor from a poor one send me a PM and I will try to help you out. Good Luck!

Which style is best for evading/redirecting attacks? I don't know much about baguazhang but I'd like to learn.

master jinbao uses principles by keeping your hands up when a strike occurs and also knows when to go through your attacker.

When you have contact reflex skills you can do what you want to the opponents structure. its all about listening, adhering, controlling, sticking and redirecting the opponents timing, structure, movement and balance.

@ninpomasta111 Using both hands to block a strike / kick,or using two hands to grab and throw, are REAL methods that give you a better chance of succeding. One handed blocks, look great, but....
