@buyhdtrsd All of these were directed by the same guy. Declaring the American version better is no big deal since all you're saying is you preferred how he directed the American versions instead of the Japanese ones.

@IroNoHimitsu nope Katasumi and 44444444444 are short films and only helps you to understand wat happen with the girl wihtout jaw and her brother(cellphone)

For people saying this version is remade, it isn't. Ju-On The Grudge is the remade version. It's also the 3rd movie out of a series of films.

The Curse were both TV movies. They were popular enough to have a a full blown theatrical release. With the Grudge films being remade in America.
