Yay, en sang på det favoritte språket mitt! Jeg snakker godt norsk og jeg hadde lyst på spille en sang på dette språket i lang tid! Perfekt å starte med en sang fra min favoritten groupe, Leaves Eyes.

(Yay, a song in my favorite language! I speak good norwegian and I wanted to record a song in this language for so long. Perfect to start with a song from my favorite band, Leaves Eyes)

So, Leaves Eyes released their new masaterpiece, the amazing MEREDEAD! An absolutely gorgeous album that deserves to figure between the tops of 2011! My favorite is still VoA's Delta, haha fanboyfeelings, but Meredead is amazing as well.
I was very eager to listen to this song specially...I'm very fond of big songs and when I knew LE was going to make a nine minutes opera metal IN NORWEGIAN I thought "Jesus, to be perfect only if the lyrics were about Zelda haha". As I thought, Sigrlinn is the masterpiece I was waiting for.
About the lyrics and the language: well, I've been studying norwegian for some time now and even though I'm really fluent in bokmal, I think I did a good job with the fonetics of nynorsk. Remember that the accents in norway are VERY different from each part of the country, I learned norwegian with a teacher from Oslo, so I might have something that ressembles their accent.
Well, hope you like it! I think it's my best job so far ^^.

MAKE A SINGER HAPPY, LEAVE A COMMENT SO I CAN IMPROVE IT =)

This song doesn't belong to me, but to Leaves Eyes and Napalm Records.

  • @SakumaRyuichiNG Oh, Thanks dear Mary! I miss so much talking to you...sorry for being a missing friend XD! Big kisses to you my beautiful!

  • As I said, after gutural parts it sounds much more better although you could have reduced Liv' volume.

And I died *heart attack* in the speaking part *------*

  • @StormColdSoul You are the best, Cyn ^^! Thanks a lot for the comment...I tried to lower Livs voice but it's impossible...it would take down the instrumental =(. And what about or So Long =p?

Obrigado amigo. Grande abraço

  • @HiuriMetaxas Vc eh muito lindo, sabia? Ingen kunna gjeva deg meir...pra vc <3

  • @nemausicae Well dear, as you might know, Norwegian is a language that is VERY different between regions. You can be sure that a Bergen norwegian speaker has a very different accent from an Oslo norewgian speaker. I've been studing norwegian for 3 years now and I'm pretty good at it, not fluent, but in grammatic and semantic aspects I can handle myself pretty well. My teacher is from Bergen, so all I know about pronounciation is from Bergen accent. You might need to listen it more carefully.

  • I love your voice but your grammar is a total disaster so, no, you're not fluent and no, you don't speak Norwegian well. Sorry, had to say that.

  • Haha está perfeito como tudo o que vc faz! *_* O//
