  • Good swing.

  • clears his hips way to fast on the downswing...

  • uhhh..no? First off, this is about his swing, not my own advice. Secondly, saying that his left hip needs to be up more or wind better isn't going to impact his initial problem of a hook the way that you think it will. Remember, he is looking for what will fix his hook NOW, not just a random comment about one of many things that may be wrong in his swing. Try to keep that in mind next time.

  • uhhh....no! No matter what camera angle you look at, the middle doesnt wind properly. Simple fix. Left hip more up and behind him! Needs to work on lower body (legs& hips). If you cannot tell this swing needs better lower body stability...you shouldnt be giving any advice.

  • look how over turned and steep your hips and left leg are in your finish. This is an effect of trying to keep the club in front of you in the downswing and create an energy source. Focus on your backswing...your hips are much flatter than your shoulders an are incomplete (left hip does not turn behind you). Let your left knee straighten a bit in the backswing to allow your left hip to turn behind you. A little more flex in the right knee will help as well. This will keep you from spinning out.

  • When I look at your swing all that comes to mind is tempo tempo tempo..... you should show another video with showing the ball and your feet line up

  • hi ya great improvements there in a short space of time:) To help with consistency on the back swing keep the space between the knees, its harder to keep a consistent swing going when the front knee kicks under your body. its actually a key swing thought of mine when playing. hope it helps :P

  • Yeah tmousc is right about the camera angle. Hooking the ball is caused by an in to out swing path. This is a good thing to have but can also be overdone like everything else. Compensations are what allow you to hit shots straight with a flawed swing. I would suggest taking a video from a face on view as well to determine pivot, grip, ball position, etc.

  • Sorry about not getting back to you sooner.

First, I would recommend that you do a video with a little bit better angle. It's hard to tell a lot about swing plane without having the correct angle. From the looks of it, you are a little low. Of the things I noticed though, I would pay particular attention to the top of the swing. I would work on laying off the club a bit to make it so you can make a quicker more powerful move down. I would be very interested to see a driver swing. GL
