A Rhodesian Ridgeback takes on an American Badger. The Rhodesian Ridgeback was bred to hunt Lions in Africa & so is well known for its bravery & strength. They could not kill Lions however, they were just used to track them & keep them 'at bay' until the hunter arrived & killed the Lion with his gun.

However, when taking on a much smaller American Badger, the Rhodesian Ridgeback gets more then it ever bargained for. Badgers are unrivalled for their bravery, courage & fearlessness of Animals much bigger & stronger then themselves. They will defend themselves (& most of the time win) against any animal.

It's people like you who give pitbulls a bad name, you are a terrible owner of a dog and should have your untrained dog taken away from you. I grew up with two pitbulls, they were well trained and would only show aggression to a threat to the family. You don't deserve to own a dog if you can't handle it. Put your dog up for adoption, please, you disgust me.

The Rhodesian Ridgeback can go for a long time, under extreme physical stress, without water. These are dogs that were bred to run miles in 100+ degree weather and be physically able to serve as hounds & protectors. A pit bull is not this hardy and is bred for niche fighting; you are sadly mistaken if you believe a pitbull could protect you from a timberwolf. Irish Wolfhounds were bred for this task, child.

  • Bet 100 they wouldnt to that to a wolverine

  • I have a pit and an RR and what can I say? The PB comes back all tired WAY before the RR and he hasn't broken a sweat LOL.

  • evcellent vid ppl under rate the hound breeds. In the australian out back the hound breed is highly regarded to those who know what to look for in a working dog. They use staghound' wolfhound 'pointers'and mix breeds to get the utimate working dog

  • My pit saved me from a badger. Nasty they can be!

  • "RR's are used for large game tracking etc and have high pain tolerance"

They're used for everything, and I don't think their pain tolerance is going to be any different than that of a Pitbull. You accuse other people of not doing research, yet you have no idea what you're talking about. RR's were purposefully bred to defend a home as much as they were to hunt, and being a sighthound/scenthound mix has allowed them to be useful in any endevour for which they're used.

  • Anything in the weasel family is just plain nasty. Surprised the dog stayed at it for that long.

  • @chinbunny1 Im trying to help you out, your weak as the day is long. Your mentality is all about feeling sorry for everything. Feeling sorry is weakness, and the weak are easy pickings for the strong. You dont see it because you dont want to see it nothing more I can do when thats the case. Die well little bunny.

  • @surleyguru You're the idiot who referenced fiction to prove your point. Tell us how white fang is based on a true story again. Or better yet, how the world is coming to an end because some responsible owners don't allow their dogs to 'kill pests.'

  • @chinbunny1 The breed is just a dog like anyother, prey driven and ready to erraticate pests.

  • @chinbunny1 Why are you asking me? You seem so sure.
