my father is a chicago police officer. Back in the day when the Bulls were in the old Chicago stadium and they first drafted Jordan my dad was working that area and they used to let the cops in. My dad described the scene watching Jordan practice. EVERYBODY in the building from the players, janitors, security, everybody would just stand there and watch Jordan shoot. He was truly beautiful to watch.

This man has made basketball what it is today.
He reached millions of people worldwide and showed us that we all can be heroes, if we are only brave enough to bring out the best in us. He made dreams become reality. Though nobody can ever fill his shoes, we must not be sad. Instead we shall keep his spirit forever in our hearts and let it inspire us.
